She refused to pull the plug on her husband, years later he awoke and said two surprising words.

Danielle Davis had high hopes for her life when she married the person she loved. However, her dreams were shattered when her husband, whom she had been married to for only seven months, was in a motorcycle accident and ended up on life support.

The likelihood of his full recovery from the injuries he suffered was slim, and all the doctors she spoke to about her husband’s condition recommended that she consider removing him from life support.

Despite medical recommendations, Danielle chose to continue life support for her husband Matt, hoping for a miracle.

“I felt that God could carry him through, and God could handle the situation,” she said.

After the hospital discharged him, Matt was brought back home where Danielle and her mother-in-law took care of him. Danielle wanted to make sure that even though he was confined to a bed, he had the best view in the world. She made sure that Matt was comfortable and well taken care of.

After several months, just when everyone thought things couldn’t improve for Matt, he finally woke up.

Opening his eyes was a miracle. After that, he slowly recovered mentally and physically. However, what surprised his wife and family the most were the first words he said when he woke up. He asked for a “buffalo chicken wrap from Cheddar’s.”

Matt managed to regain his long-term memory, but he struggles to remember his wedding day and events from recent years. Although he cannot walk, he remains determined to improve himself and overcome all obstacles in the future.

He still has a sharp sense of humor and even offers advice to husbands. “Remember to take out the trash, you never know when you won’t be able to,” he quipped.

Matt’s experience shows us once again that we should always trust in the strength of prayer and belief in God.

Someone who came across Matt’s amazing story said, “Believe and trust; there is nothing too difficult for our God.” Another person chimed in, “With God, all things are achievable.”
