The majority of people, as we all know, want to present the ideal version of themselves on social media. When choosing which photos to share, they want to choose the best ones. The concept has, however, been overused by some. They have attracted followers who are very disconnected from reality. As a result, followers place a high value on perfection in beauty at the expense of their mental and emotional well-being.
The “perfect” celebrity photos you see on
Instagram are not at all the informal pictures they seem to be.

Fortunately, some people have recognized the issue and
are attempting to expose the false notion that exists behind the scenes. We
have a funny and jarring video from YouTube sensation Ethan Klein that reveals
the reality of some of the well-known influencers.
Before the “everyday” shot is uploaded to
social media, hours of makeup, flattering poses, and various editing techniques
are used.

Ethan ridicules the blatant deception that some of these
influencers engage in on a daily basis. Everything you see online is fake, and
you should never make a negative comparison to these people. They’re not who
they’d like you to believe they are!
”People, don’t believe what you see on
Instagram, I can’t believe the difference”

It can be genuinely refreshing to see the human side of
the famous people we admire away from the polished images that we are presented
with on a daily basis. Initially, social media gave us the chance to peek
behind the curtain. Regrettably, the majority of celebrity social media
accounts are now managed by teams of advisors and managers who wouldn’t post
anything unless it had been carefully reviewed first.
“Pardon me, what?”.

We need some reassurance that celebrities are also
people, even though we admire, respect, and even idolize some of them. Because
they give readers a glimpse behind the perfectly curated curtain, magazines
with headlines like “Cameron Diaz without makeup” or “Beyonce’s acne problem”
always do well at the newsstands. However, it might be cooler if there were
less deception and lies.
